Explore a cyberpunk world in this roguelike

Oblivion Override is an early-access action game where players will have to engage in fast-paced combat as they explore a war-torn land. This indie title mixes elements of hack-and-slash and roguelike gameplay to create a challenging environment that will engage all types of players.

As already mentioned, this game is still in its early stages of development, so you can expect there to be some bugs and minimal content available for now. However, future updates will improve on these issues. Take note, as well, that the game features mature content in the form of blood and gore.

Fast-paced and filled with tough challenges

For fans of roguelike titles such as Castlevania, Oblivion Override is another great title to check out. Similar to other such games, players will have access to a wide array of melee weapons with their own unique combat styles and qualities. By switching among the 23 possible weapon variations, you can easily tweak your combat style to find one that suits your preference or that works against specific enemies.

Players can also make use of two different combat machines, each with three unique abilities, to serve as the base for their unique character builds. As previously mentioned, you will also be able to navigate a sizable map that revolves around an underground wasteland. With numerous areas to uncover, players will find a variety of unique enemies in this action-adventure game, as well.

The game is presented in a 2D pixel art style, which is reminiscent of your classic side-scrollers. Despite the retro graphics, however, the animations remain colorful and fluid. One thing to note, however, is that the tutorials and guides are quite difficult to understand, which can be tricky for players who are new to the genre. Some players can also experience frequent lagging and game crashes.

Come up with your own play style

With a wide variety of weapons and combat machines, players can customize their character builds and adapt to different enemies in Oblivion Override. Its use of nostalgic pixel graphics also makes it a visually appealing experience for fans of the roguelike, side-scroller genre. However, the game's tutorials and guides may pose difficulties for newcomers, and occasional lagging and crashes can disrupt the experience.

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
